Content Distribution Network System

The OVT-CDN content distribution network system is designed for two-way interactive service platform users with wide distribution, independent demand, strong flow burst, and huge downlink flow. At the same time, it focuses on large-scale data security and combines the characteristics of two-way interactive service technology. Based on the open platform implementation, it is compatible with the content injection and content scheduling of the NGOD standard architecture, and can work with related products of other vendors.

OVT-CDN can redirect the user’s request to the new service node according to the network flow and the connection and load status of each node in real time, realizing the distribution system based on the policy deployment, and content of the business format like the video, audio, IP data, protocol data, etc. is distributed in real time, unified scheduling, and distributed storage of programs. The system supports PULL and PUSH distribution modes. It has high efficiency and reliability. It supports three-level network structure and is suitable for large-scale interactive TV network deployment. It is conducive to timely and rapid response of distributed users’ business needs, improving user satisfaction and achieving the smooth operation of the two-way interactive business.

Features:
  • Support the open, standardized architecture of NGOD;
  • Support for three-level network architecture;
  • Support single point / multi-point injection: time shift / on-demand;
  • Support real-time program injection: real-time distribution of real-time injected programs, real-time broadcast, mainly used in time-shifted TV services;
  • Support for non-real-time programs: for hot broadcast programs can be actively transmitted, automatically tracked, automatically updated (day / week / customize cycle and strategy);
  • For non-hot broadcast programs, it can be distributed, stored, scheduled, distributed, and broadcasted after going online;
    Support PUSH, PULL working mode;
  • Use UDP multicast to improve the bandwidth utilization of the backbone network.
  • Supports program distribution in multiple encoding formats such as MPEG-2/4 and H.264.
